* [[Hera]] (Ἥρα, Hḗra), Queen of the gods, Hera supports the Achaeans due to her hatred of Paris for not choosing her as the fairest goddess, as well as her general animosity towards the Trojans.
* [[Athena]] (Ἀθηνᾶ, Athēnâ), goddess of wisdom and war, Athena also sides with the Achaeans, partly because Paris' judgment offended her and partly due to her role as a protector of heroes and embodiment of military strategy.
* [[Poseidon]] (Ποσειδῶν, Poseidôn), god of the sea, Poseidon holds a grudge against the Trojans over the issue of compensation for his work in building the walls of Troy. He supports the Achaeans, though his involvement is sometimes constrained by Zeus. According to myth, Poseidon, along with Apollo, were compelled by Zeus to serve King '''Laomedon''' of Troy as a punishment for rebelling against him. During this period of servitude, Poseidon and [[Apollo]] offered their divine skills to the king; Poseidon built the magnificent walls of Troy, which were so well constructed that they were nearly impregnable, while Apollo tended the king's herds. When the time came for Laomedon to compensate Poseidon and Apollo for their labor, the king reneged on his promise; he refused to pay the agreed-upon fee, angering Poseidon deeply. In response to this insult, Poseidon sent a sea monster to ravage the Trojan coast as an initial punishment, and held a grudge ever since.
* [[Hermes]] (Ἑρμῆς, Hermês), the messenger god is less directly involved but generally supports the Achaeans, respecting the social order and the rules of hospitality that Paris violated.
