Gods Supporting the Trojans
* Aphrodite (Ἀφροδίτη, Aphrodítē), goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite supports Paris and the Trojans because Paris awarded her the apple of discord, declaring her the fairest goddess.
* Apollo (Ἀπόλλων, Apóllōn), god of the sun, music, and prophecy, Apollo supports the Trojans; he was considered a patron god of Troy, and he had close ties to the city and its people. Apollo's protection of Troy is seen in various myths, including his fathering of Troilus, a Trojan prince. This patronage likely superseded any grievance he might have had regarding compensation for building the walls without recompense.
* Artemis (Ἄρτεμις, Ártemis), goddess of the hunt and Apollo's twin sister, Artemis supports the Trojans, aligned with her brother's inclinations.
* Ares (Ἄρης, Árēs), god of war, Ares initially supports the Trojans, drawn to the chaos of battle and influenced by his love for Aphrodite.
* Leto (Λητώ, Lētṓ), mother of Apollo and Artemis, Leto supports the Trojans alongside her children.
